High School Foreign Exchange Programs
“Whether the borders that divide us are picket fences or national boundaries, we are all neighbors in the global community.” – Jimmy Carter
Everyone is an international student, some are just more aware of it than others.
CIVA Charter High School has an idealistic goal to foster peace and understanding in our school, community and around the world. Our emphasis on scholarship brings together our local and international students to pursue an intellectual program designed to ensure each student reaches his or her highest potential. We promote a diverse melting pot of students, through numerous high school foreign exchange programs.
Our emphasis on citizenship is enhanced when our students clarify the values of their own community and are inquisitive about the values of other cultures. A deeper level of understanding and appreciation of our global village increases the compassion our students feel for one another and increases the stewardship our students’ sense for fostering a more diplomatic world.
A broader cultural experience develops a more innovative and curious approach to artistic expression, which is greatly enhanced by the global perspective of students from all around the world brought to us by our partnerships with high school foreign exchange programs.
