Welcome Back!

CIVA celebrates 20 years!

We are so excited for the new year to begin! We are celebrating our 20th year of providing the families of the Pikes Peak region with a unique approach to education. We are very proud of our tradition of excellence; of inspiring students to become exceptional scholars, citizens and artisans.

New Staff:  While the vast majority of staff are returning from last year, we want to welcome some new faculty members to the CIVA staff.

We are very fortunate to have these new outstanding teachers join our illustrious team!!

Governing Board: We also want to congratulate Joey Finkbeiner on becoming CIVA Governing Board’s new President. Dr. Curtis Cook will continue to serve as the Board’s Vice President. We also want to welcome new Governing Board members who will start this fall: Jana Haas, Comfort Rogers, and Karl Schneider have benevolently decided to assist in the governance of CIVA.

Back to School Night: All parents are invited to come out the evening of August 31st at 7pm to meet the teachers and learn more about what is happening in the classrooms.

Peru Trip: On August 31st at 6:30 we will have an informational meeting for those interested in attending the trip to Peru in June of 2017. The meeting will be held in room 94.

Registration and New Student Orientation

New Students 8:30

Returning Students 11:00

August 16 is registration and new student orientation.  New students/parents will start the day at 8:30 with new student orientation.  New students will finish registration and get their school pictures/IDs taken between 9 and 10:30.  all returning CIVA students will register between 11:00 and 12:30.  All forms necessary are available on the website.

Returning students need to bring:

• Completed Locator Card
• Completed Enrollment Update form
• Completed Health Update form
• Complete OLE packet including a copy (front and back) of health insurance card (a notary will be at registration at no charge)
• Payments for outstanding obligation, parking, athletics, OLE and activity fee - check made to CIVA
• Completed Lifetouch order form if ordering pictures - check made to Lifetouch.  See the events calendar on the website for the link to the picture order form.

New students need to bring:

• Any paperwork not already turned in
• Completed OLE packet including a copy (front and back) of health insurance card (a notary will be at registration at no charge)
• Payments for parking, athletics, OLE and activity fee balance - make to CIVA.
