Happy New Year!
We warmly welcome you back to the spring semester of the school year. We had a great fall and look forward to an even better springtime. Students will return on January 5th and should come prepared to fully participate on the first day.
Enrollment
We are entering the main enrollment window for the 2017-18 school year. We looking to expand our enrollment slightly for next year. If you refer a family/student to CIVA and they enroll in the fall you will receive a scholarship for the Fall OLE and the Activity Fee will be waived.
Notice of Intent for Returning Students
A Notice of Intent form will be mailed home to all current 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. Please return this form to the front office no later that February 1st in order to secure your student's slot for next school year.
Parent Survey
Back in December we asked our folks to provide us feedback on the school via the ‘parent survey.’ We may have had an issue with the accessibility of the survey so we are going to reopen it. The survey will be available to complete from January 6th through January 20th. Please take ten minutes to fill it out as we deeply value your thoughts and would like to know what is working well and what we can do better.

International Hosting
We want to ensure we provide our students with a broad international education. Would you please consider hosting an international student for next year? It’s a great experience for you, your son/daughter and our school community. We work with many placement agencies and we highly recommend CCIgreenheart.com If you host an exchange student you will also receive a scholarship for the Fall OLE and the Activity Fee will be waived.
Travel in 2018
CIVA will be traveling to Venice, Florence and Cinque Terra, Italy! If you missed out on the first informational meeting due to the weather, here's your chance to get all the details. We will hold another introductory meeting on January 9th at 4:30. Now's the time to start planning for the summer of 2018!
