Respect Expectations

1. We will treat our guests (including substitute teachers) with respect and in a friendly and cooperative manner.
2. We make an effort to know each others' names.
3. We have respect for all resource materials, furniture, and equipment located in the classrooms, library, dining hall, student lounge and computer labs.
4. We respect all property by leaving it better than the way we found it. We do not produce graffiti or litter.
5. We respect the unique potential of all members of the community, and we
   • Don't fight to settle disagreements
   • Do not use profanity in our conversations
   • Avoid gossip
   • Do not use identity slurs of any kind
   • Do not make reference to drugs or alcohol, or make sexual comments in our conversations
6. We respect the rules at CIVA, including the strict no smoking policy.
7. We respect the CIVA environment by refraining from inappropriate public displays of affection.
