CIVA Families
The new school year is off to a great start!! We are so excited to welcome and work with the new students. They are as amazing as we anticipated they would be. We currently have thirteen international students from all around the globe: Argentina, China, Denmark, Germany, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand and Ukraine.
Back to School Night
September 2nd 7:00 – 8:30: Please come out and meet your son's/daughter's teachers and learn about what is happening in each classroom. Representatives from our Governing Board will be here to meet and greet you as well.
Peace Run
The Peace Run is a global relay, founded by Sri Chinmoy, that promotes international friendship and cultural understanding. CIVA’s Cross Country team and other athletes will be running from Queen Palmer Elementary school to CIVA, 5.5 miles, starting at 10:00 am and arriving at CIVA around 11:00. The Al Oerter Award will be presented to Kurt Brushe' for his accomplishments in academics, athletics, arts and service. The relay race will continue from Colorado Springs to Boulder.
OLE
Our outdoor learning expedition (OLE) will take us to Frontier Ranch in Buena Vista this fall. Please be sure that all forms are turned in by August 31st.
